Yosegi Playing Cards were designed and produced by Art of Play and were first introduced through their 2023 Mystery Deck. The cards’ design was inspired by yosegi, an ancient Japanese art of pattern-making.
Yosegi is most recognizable through wooden boxes (jewelry, puzzles, etc.), which utilize different types of wood to create beautiful and intricate patterns.
Art of Play took the classic patterns and created this deck’s borderless back design. The faces have a beige background, giving the cards a vintage feel.
