Cardistry Con 2023, held in the beautiful The Crypt on the Green in London, saw many new decks released. In addition, the first printed magazine dedicated to cardistry, The Flourish, was unveiled there.

Its author is the Romanian magician Bizau Cristian, who everybody calls Biz. Biz has made a significant effort to open up and grow the cardistry community in recent years. The Flourish should help with just that.

The entire magazine is designed to appeal to die-hard cardistry fans and newcomers who are just getting acquainted with cardistry or hearing about it for the first time.

In this first issue, you will find:

• An extensive interview with Huron Low, one of the founding and current members of The Virts.
• An article by Yang Nguyen in which he reflects on the current state of cardistry tutorials.
• Nikita Yatsik, the Fontaine Trials 2021 winner, teaches you five of his original flourishes.
• A portrait of Luke Wadey, a talented British designer with over 70 card decks in his portfolio.
• And much more!

The Flourish will be published once a year. Look forward to the second issue in 2024.
