The Expert at the Card Table is one of the most famous magic books. In its more than 120 years of existence, it has gained an almost cult status. It is one of the first books focused on techniques for dishonest card players (gambling and cheating at cards). The fact that it was published in 1902 can be seen in its language and clarity. The English of that time is very different from that of today. This is one of the main reasons why several revised versions of this book have been produced over the years.

One of them is David Ben's The Experts at the Card Table. In studying it, he found that it was challenging to read and had several systemic errors. In his opinion, the different techniques are put together in the wrong order and do not relate to each other.

David decided to change this in his re-imagination of the book. He focused on the first part of the original, the chapter called Card Table Artifice, and edited it for ease of study. He has supplemented the original text, corrected grammatical errors, removed duplications, and included over 700 photographs to help you understand the techniques more easily and learn them more quickly.
