The Elusive Illusive by Ben Daggers
Product detailed description
Ben Daggers is an English-born magician living and performing in Japan for several years. He has created unique magic tricks for his shows, which he shares with you in this book. Thanks to Ben's countless performances, you can be sure that you'll be treated to effects honed to the smallest detail.
The Elusive Illusive focuses on magic for the close-up shows that are Ben's bread and butter. The book consists mainly of card tricks, but two coin effects are included. It's worth pointing out that most of the effects use a table.
There are eleven effects explained in the book. We picked out some of our favorite items and offered a short description below.
Tribute
You will try to show the audience your skills with a deck of cards and how you would use them to your advantage during a poker game. At first glance, you will fail, but the ending of the routine will surprise everyone. You end up with a Royal Flush in your hand!
Triumph for Two
An interesting version of the classic "Triumph" effect that omits card selection. In Ben's version, you race the spectator to see who can straighten a shuffled deck of cards first.
Drop Shuffle
A false shuffle of the entire deck. Ben incorporated several subtleties into the shuffle that make it seem real.
