Air-Cushion Finish
Type of surface finish used by USPCC. It is recognizable for its "dimples," a circular-shaped embossed pattern on the card's surface. It gives the cards great fanning ability.
Blank back
Card with face design on one side and nothing on the other side.
Blank face
Card with back design on one side and nothing on the other side.
Borderless
Type of back design that goes all the way to the edges of the cards.
Cartamundi
A company producing playing cards and much more based in Belgium.
Casino stock
Higher quality paper stock used by USPCC. This stock is thicker, sturdier, and more durable than classic Retail stock.
Coin matrix
An effect during which coins travel across the table and change places.
Double-backer
Card with back design on both sides.
Double-facer
Card with face design on both sides, e.g. 8 of Hearts on one side and Jack of Clubs on the other.

These cards have been cut from their faces towards their back, making faro shuffle easier in this direction. Mainly appreciated by magicians working on a table.
