Calaveras Playing Cards
Product detailed description
Ten years after the release of the hugely successful first edition, Calaveras Playing Cards are back with their second edition. This one features a different front of the tuck box. The inside of the box is now covered with copper foil.
The term calaveras means skulls in Spanish. And you'll find plenty of those in this deck. For example, there are six of them in the roses right on the back design.
Chris Ovdiyenko drew inspiration for this deck from Día de los Muertos, a traditional holiday to celebrate the dead. That's why the court cards in this deck are undead. The cards have a used/dirty background that changes on each card.
Each deck includes a double-backer.
