When we printed the red version of Butterfly Playing Cards Workers Edition, the first batch did not come up exactly as we wanted. There were color inaccuracies - red can vary between the decks and even the cards. The inconsistent color does not affect the cards' features or feel. But as we cannot guarantee two decks to be the same exact shade, we do not want to offer these among the standard print run.

We acquired 1.000 red Workers "Seconds" decks. We are now making them available to practitioners, workers, and those who want to try out Butterfly Playing Cards for the best price possible. These go for as low as 5 EUR per deck. They are fully marked, have a double-backer, and come with a 30-minute tutorial. This is the best deal we can provide. 

What is Butterfly Playing Cards Workers Edition?

In Autumn 2022, we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for a new series of Butterfly Playing Cards, the Workers Edition. The classic Butterfly design is now surrounded by a white border.

Thanks to their versatility, bordered playing cards are still the main choice among magicians. They work great in sandwich and triumph effects and help conceal multiple card turnovers.

The foundation of the Butterfly Workers line-up is the Red and Blue decks. We printed these with Cartamundi on their Slimline stock with True Linen B9 Finish for consistency with the rest of Butterfly Playing Cards.

The faces feature a classic USPC design with an adjusted color scheme and are one-way. All four Aces carry big center floral pips.

Every deck has an instructional card and a link to a 30-minute tutorial. It explains the marking system and offers ideas for tricks with marked cards. Every deck also includes a double-backer.

Note: We took off their outer cellophane and made a small mark on the bottom of the tuck case. The cards in the tuck are still cellowrapped.
