You ask your spectator if they could borrow you a few coins for a moment. They put them on the tray so that you can see which coins they are. You then hand the coins back to the spectator, and they clasp them in their hand.

You take your coin out of your pocket, which then disappears in a flash. The spectator opens their fist and finds your coin in their hand with their own!
